Meet Danielle & D’Arcy

Co-Owners of Gigi Marie’s PlayHouse

Our family of 6 girls has always been really close, so when my sister and l opened Gigi Marie's, and we named it in honor of our mom, our other sisters were our biggest supporters.
We named it after my mom because she was the absolute best mom, grandma, and great grandma (Gigi Marie) there ever was. One of the last conversations we had with my mom before she passed was when my granddaughter was born. My mom asked if my granddaughter could call her Gigi Marie, because she always loved the name Gigi and always hoped that her great grandchildren would call her that. Unfortunately she passed a few weeks later, and that's when we decided if we ever was able to do something in her honor, that we would name it Gigi Marie's and how fitting that "it" was a daycare! Once my sisters were all in school, my mom missed the little ones running around so much that she ran her own daycare for a few years before retiring. Our mom loved everyone's children as if they were her own, and she made sure every child, no matter their story, felt wanted, loved, safe, and most importantly, heard. So, here's to our mom, we promise to make you as proud of us and our little daycare, as we've always been of you!
